Reviews for Piccolino Bristol
Review highlights
Based on 1,344 reviewsPiccolino Bristol consistently receives praise for its warm and inviting ambiance, complemented by attentive and friendly staff who enhance the dining experience. Customers often highlight the quality and freshness of the Italian dishes, with particular appreciation for homemade recipes and flavorful offerings. The restaurant’s welcoming atmosphere is further supported by thoughtful gestures from the team, exemplifying strong customer care. While the kitchen’s early closing time has occasionally led to slight rushing of orders, this is a minor point amid generally positive feedback. Additionally, promotional events like midweek wine discounts add to the appeal, making Piccolino a popular choice for both casual meals and special occasions.
Cannot thank the guys at Piccolino enough for being our saviours today. My bike broke down just up the road and the Manager came out to give us some water and we ended up staying in their restaurant for 6hrs while awaiting recovery and the guys could not do enough to help and even gave is a free pizza and coffee while we waited! Thank you Piccolios! Cannot recommend enough, gorgeous food and amazing service! We'll be back to show our gratitude
Razvan has been an incredible experience at Piccolino and I would highly suggest him as a waiter! Full of magic tricks and fantastic jokes, 10/10 Also highly recommended the 50% off wine Wednesdays
I visited Piccolino Bristol at the last night of 2024 and had an amazing experience! The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. A special mention goes to Ramona, who was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. She truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel so comfortable. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor added a personal touch to our evening. Thank you, Ramona, for making our visit so enjoyable! I highly recommend Piccolino Bristol for a fantastic dining experience.
My daughter and I had a delicious fresh, homemade bolognese plus tasty starter for £25 each. Really yummy. Absolutely gorgeous! I also had an amazing tiramasou, coffee and a side dish. The staff were super friendly and very efficient. The atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommended!
The food was really tasty! I really liked the salad that came with the steak. The only thing that was a bit off for us was that the kitchen closes at 9 so they rushed us a bit with the order. but apart from that everything was great.
Staff are friendly and food taste nice but its a bit overpriced for what you're getting. You're better off going to a local Italian restaurant that is family owned. But if you want somewhere fancier, then be my guest, go here but there are better fancy Italian places in Bristol like San Carlo. It's probably just a tourist trap as its convenient its in Cabot Circus.
I didn’t book in advance, they greeted me and welcomed me in regardless. I chose the scallops as my appetizer, it was very good however some were overcooked, I would like to see my scallops cooked with good crust and perfectly cooked in the middle. As for my main I chose the duck, it was perfect, delicious seasoning and a perfect crispy skin, with the meat being moist and tender. For my drink, I tried the spicy mango recommended by the server, and it was a 10/10 drink.
Tasha, Gus and Goucalo were incredible servers, this was simply one of the greatest dining experiences we've had together. It was my partner's Birthday and they went out of their way to make the food, atmosphere and time spent a time to remember. Thank you and we will certainly visit again.
